It’s always a pleasure to receive an enquiry from a Bride & Groom who are more interested in booking you for their wedding, so they are happy to choose a date depending on my availability!
I received a message from Olivia one evening asking about what dates I was free for their wedding for the following year as they would love me to be their photographer and I was instantly over the moon!
These guys wanted an easy relaxed wedding day celebrated with everyone they knew in a big field with a marquee – right up my street!!
That morning I arrived and was greeted by the Bride & Bridesmaids as they nervously got ready all the while giggling & popping champagne ahead of the beautiful boho wedding ceremony that was to come! My second shooter for the day, Carla, had arrived with the boys who were spending their time tweaking the last few bits at the field before the guests started to arrive!
Olivia & Connor had pieced together all their styling, created wonderful games & prepared amazing cakes & sweet treats for their wedding day. The pair had worked tirelessly to try and do everything they could themselves and it was all decorated beautifully. Even the backdrop for their wedding ceremony had been hand-made & the farmer who owned the field had helped with some straw bales for the guests to hop onto whilst they watched the pair tie the knot with their outdoor ceremony.
The afternoon flew by, and with some hilarious stories from Connor’s stag party and some beautiful words from Olivia’s dad, it was finally time to cut the cake and hit the dance floor.
